Sitter for a day...or two

Friday Morning 9:00 a.m. -

Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring, My cellphone is crying out loud calling me...
...it stopped ringing...
...Then it made a couple beeps telling me that someone has left a message.

To make the long story short, the message is from my friend Teresa asking if I could pick-up a couple corgis arriving from Alaska and babysit for the weekend.

...who?!... me?!...babysit dogs?!...

...SURE!!! Our home is always open to good doggies :o)

Saturday morning

I left home around 8:00 a.m., went to AK Airlines Cargo Dept.

" Are you Neil?" asked the clerk," I said "no, I'm Johnny...just kidding...lol, Yes I'm Neil", "I have two cute dogs for you"...got the dogs, loaded them in the truck and drove home.

Aside from my 4 beautiful babies at home, I now have six(at least for the weekend), the best consolation though, is that these guys are very well behaved, everybody is just getting along really well and ran their hearts-out in the yard, so now, I have 6 dogs who are pooped and sleeping.

The best way to babysit corgis...sit under the maple tree and write your blog :o)

P.S.: Having three intact Male show dogs in the house "Priceless", It is a show to behold, A Pee'ing-Marking Extravaganza!...Oh my poor boxwoods!

Hi Neil and Corgis! Thank you for the invite! I have signed in and will enjoy this mucho.

How's the babysitting? And the Lemonnn??" Do you have a good mechanic to check out your car...I did that with a used volvo bought, and my mechanic found a huge problem with the differential and the volvo dealer replaced it for free. Do not give these clowns any more $$$...get it checked out head to toe and look up the ID number to make sure it's not a New Orleans disaster flood vehicle as well. Lots of them up here along with repo's that have ben damaged. Keep us posted...if you must get your Ford back and go elsewhere!

After several phone calls and call backs - they decided that they'll do it for free - That Hyundai dealer is a brand spanking new dealership so I guess they don't want to make an ugly start, they said it'll be ready on Thursday, they had to order the parts from the GM people.

Enjoy your RV'ing - it sure is hot today!

P.S.: Corgis are getting along just fine however "special cookie treats" seems to change their disposition...they get REALLY possessive!
